2 5 tonne counter balance lifting beam designed to lift centrifuge components outside the working area of the overhead crane. Counter balance lifting beam used to lift and position a balcony under a 1m overhang on a building. Powered by a 24v rechargeable battery the libro 250 compact has an electrically adjustable rack and pinion counterweight saddle which can be moved along the machine s rear beam by cable remote control. By traversing the counterweight along the length of the beam the target item is smoothly lifted from its location.

This beam features a moveable weight to keep the beam level in both the loaded and unloaded condition. Pneumatics and motorization can be used when the counterweight must be adjusted during the lift. Counter balance lift beam counter balance beams are typically used when the center of gravity of the load is offset from the crane hook. The basic concept of the counter balance beam is to use variable amounts of counterweight to offset the weight of the targeted lift.
